Welcome
Affectionately known as "Jubilee," the Dean Family Beach House is a relaxed, family-friendly retreat just steps from the white sand of Fort Morgan, with a gorgeous Gulf view as your backdrop. It's tastefully, nautically decorated with antique and vintage finds from the area — and furnished with everything you need for a great beach vacation.
The home has two decks — one covered, one partially covered — each with plenty of chairs for soaking up the breeze. We furnish beach chairs and a small cart to roll them down to the water, plus a picnic table under the house, a high table for cleaning your catch, and a completely enclosed outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand.
Comfortably sleeping up to 10 guests across three bedrooms, it's a true home away from home — a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, beach gear, family games, and a TV in every room. Fort Morgan offers the quiet, uncrowded side of Alabama's Gulf Coast, yet you're a short drive from the shops and restaurants of Gulf Shores. Whether it's a week in the summer or a longer winter getaway, this is a place to slow down and make memories.

The Fort Morgan peninsula sits at the western tip of Alabama's Gulf Coast — a peaceful, uncrowded stretch of beach about 22 miles west of Downtown Gulf Shores.
Nearby: Fort Morgan Historic Site, Mobile Bay Ferry, fresh seafood markets, charter fishing, and miles of quiet beach.
Explore the Area
There's plenty to do beyond the beach — history, fishing, wildlife, and evenings on the water, all minutes from the house.
Guarding the mouth of Mobile Bay since 1834, this massive brick fort was the site of the 1864 Battle of Mobile Bay — "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!" Walk the ramparts, tunnels, and museum at the tip of the peninsula, just minutes from the house.
Book a deep-sea charter from nearby marinas and go after red snapper, grouper, king mackerel, and mahi. Half-day and full-day trips are available for every experience level — and the house has a fish-cleaning table waiting for your catch.
Cast into the surf right in front of the house, or head to the Gulf State Park Pier in Gulf Shores — one of the largest fishing piers on the Gulf of Mexico. Pompano, redfish, and speckled trout are local favorites.
Miles of pristine dunes, maritime forest, and quiet beach about 10 minutes away. Hike the Pine Beach Trail and watch for herons, ospreys, sea turtles, and migrating songbirds.
Dolphin-watching and sunset cruises depart from Fort Morgan Marina and Orange Beach — an easy, unforgettable evening out on the water for the whole family.
Soar over Lake Shelby at the Gulf Adventure Center at Gulf State Park — six dual ziplines, some over 100 feet high and a quarter-mile long, with views over the lake and the Gulf.
